CS Local Mission Trip

Are you looking to grow your faith, serve our church, and gain leadership experience this summer? If so, we invite you to apply for our CS Local Missions Trip, taking place June 9th-14th. Students will stay overnight at the Libertyville campus. During the day, they will serve as leaders and helpers at CK Summer Days. In the evenings, they will return to the Libertyville campus for leadership training, small groups, worship, and teaching. The purpose of this week is for students to encounter God through serving others and gain a renewed excitement to humbly serve him in their everyday lives. To be eligible to apply, students must have completed 7th grade by the beginning of the Local Mission Trip.

Instead of open registration like we did last year, this year we have an application process. Within one week of completing your application, we will reach out to you to confirm or deny your application. In the case that your application is not accepted, you will receive a full refund. 

IMPORTANT DETAILS

Students will be dropped off on Sunday, June 9th, at 4:45 PM at the Grayslake campus and attend the mandatory CKSD meeting at 5pm. Girls will sleep on the second floor, and boys will sleep in the basement. Buses will take students back and forth from the Grayslake and Libertyville campuses each day. Pickup will be Friday June 14th at 5:00pm at the Libertyville campus. This opportunity is open to current 7th–12th graders.
